Our Pastors

Tim & Christine Schmidt

We began our lives together at Nyack College where we met and graduated with Bachelor degrees in Bible.  We were married just prior to our senior year in August of 1987.  We stayed in the New York City area after graduating to train at Redeeming Love Christian Center under our spiritual parents, Pastors Clinton and Sarah Utterbach.

God was pulling at our hearts to return to Rochester (where Pastor Tim grew up) to begin this church.  Since 1990, it has been an exciting journey to be a part of what God is doing in this city.  Our desire is that all may know that they were created in his image and likeness, they are valued, and that he has a wonderful plan for their lives.

We have three awesome kids, Sarah, Gabriella and Zachary, a dog named Jethro and a cat, Genivive, who thinks we work for her.

Our greatest desire is to love God and love people.   This has become the culture of Jubilee.

We love this flock and feel extremely privileged to shepherd them.  You won’t find perfect pastors here (or any perfect people), but we know that you will find genuine love, acceptance, and a passion for God and his Word! Every believer needs a place to call home. We want you to know you are welcome here!

Rahchae & Sherie Hill

Rahchae’s journey took him through some rough teen age years before the Lord showed himself to Chae.  But when he turned to the Lord, he was all in.

In 2000 the Lord began to expand his vision to spread the Gospel and encourage hearts through Gospel Rap.  He has released two CD’s: “Thunderous Sound” and “Bio-Toxic”.

On July 24, 2004 Rahchae’s life was joined in marriage to Sherie Walker.

Sherie felt the Lord drawing her to the piano from a young age.  She played for her first church service at the age of 12.  She studied music and received her B.A. in Music Education from Fredonia State University in 1998 and her Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Arts for children at Brockport University in 2002.  She carries her passion of music to the children of our city, both through her job as a public school music teacher, and through the Saturday children’s outreach program at Jubilee.  She also ministers on the Praise and Worship team at Jubilee.

In June of 2014 Rahchae and Sherie were ordained as associate pastors of Jubilee, where they had been serving since 2012.
